Christian Education Study

“Book of Isaiahbible study lead by Pastor Anderson and meets on Wednesdays at 10:00am

“Life’s Big Questions…God’s Big Answers” bible study meets on Tuesdays at 6:00pm, and is lead by Pastor Fitch

Sunday Morning “Donuts and Discipleship” bible study meets each Sunday during the school year at 9:15-10:15 a.m. and is led by Pastor Bobby or Pastor Fitch. Grab a coffee and pastry and join us!  All are welcome.

“Bless these Lips” Women’s Bible study meets at the church on Wednesday evenings during the school year at 5:15pm.

Men’s Morning Bible Study will be led by Pastor Bobby.  They meet Wednesdays at Hardee’s at 6:00am.  They will be studying “Things They Didn’t Teach Me in Sunday School” year.

Circuit Bible Study meets every Friday during the school year and conducted at either St. Paul’s or Our Savior Lutheran Church.  These studies are pastor lead.

Adult Information Class

These classes are designed for adults interested in becoming members of St. Paul’s or those wishing to refresh their knowledge of Christian doctrine.  The church office (225-1847) can be contacted for more information, including schedules for the classes.

Senior Potluck Dinner

A potluck dinner is held on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:00 noon during the school year.  Members are invited to join in a time of good food, games, and fellowship.

Five Loaves Fellowship Supper

A free supper is served the first Wednesday of each month starting at 5:30 pm for St. Paul’s church family and their friends.  No reservations needed.  The main part of the meal is provided, but if you want share a salad or a dessert, we would enjoy that but not necessary!  Showing God’s  love and mercy through service.  Partial funding for this event is provided by the Harvest Grant sponsored by the South Dakota District.

Adult Services

The Adult Services Program functions to be an advocate for health service planning and care-giving assistance to older adults of the congregation.  Services include:

  • Home and health assessment
  • Promote health and care-giving planning with family members
  • In-home safety evaluations
  • Visitation with home-bound and shut-ins
  • Assist with coordinating of health care services, government programs, care-giving facilities
  • Resource for health care programs and community-based assistance

Transportation Assistance Program

Sunday Morning Pickup Schedule: St. Paul’s has a new 13 passenger van that is used to transport members to our late  Sunday morning service.  Pickup begins at 9:15 am and transports members back to their homes at the conclusion of the Sunday service which ends at 11:30 am.

Lent and Advent Pickup Schedule:  During these seasons, the van will pickup and deliver members for noon service which begins at 12:15pm.  Pickup begins at 11:15am and returns members to their homes after the Lent and Advent luncheon which follow the service.  Members will be transported to their residence by 1:30pm.

Church Library

Our library is located near the hallway leading into our gymnasium.

Books: Our library contains over 2,000 books, publications, and articles for children, teens, and adults chosen to help the reader to respond to Christian beliefs and grow in faith and understanding of one another.  The library has numerous publications on our church strengths, beliefs, and programs.

Videos and DVD’s:  The library has numerous children and teen movies and stories to help the viewer see and better understand Christian beliefs. The library also has recently released movies.

Check-Out Process:  Children books, DVD’s, and VHS videos can be checked out for one week.  Adult and teen books and periodicals can be checked out for four weeks.

Christian Musical Groups

St. Paul has a Bell Choir and a Vocal Choir that pratice and perform during the school year.  The Sunday School Choir also performs during selected Sunday services during the school year.
