Jacob Smith was ordained as a minister of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and installed as the Assistant Pastor at St. Paul’s during a special worship service at St. Paul’s on Sunday July, 11.
The Reverend Scott Sailer, President of the LCMS South Dakota District acted as the Presiding Minister for the service. The Reverend Samuel Bobby of St. Paul’s acted as the Officiant for the service. The Reverend Bradley Smith of St. John’s Lutheran Church and School, Fraser, Michigan, preached the sermon. Reverend Bradley Smith is the father of Jacob Smith.
